Casio DA-1 DAT Recorder
The DA-1 was Casio's first DAT recorder and was introduced in 1987.
It was too early to have SCMS, and unfortunatelty it did not have any digital I/O.
Used a dot-matrix LCD display.
Compact, lightweight, fully portable
Identification messages Idisplay characters) can be created, using up to 28 alphanumeric characters. These are only displayed during recording or playback of the corresponding selection, and are useful in identifying artist name, musical genre. song name, etc. In addition, you can search and play according to these user-programmable codes.
