AIWA HD-S100 Portable DAT Recorder


The Aiwa
HD-S100 portable DAT Recorder was introduced in 1992.

It replaced the previously popular HD-X1 / S1 models.

The digital I/O connection actually uses a non-standard mini-jack connector, but a lead was supplied with standard phono connectors on the other end to connect directly to your CD player or to another DAT player

- Recording level meter with peak indicator 2-channel

- Title number

- Record
- Absolute Time
- Title Time

  • 1 bit D/A converter
  • 1 bit A/D converter
  • Manual recording level control (slide)
  • Playback Volume control (wheel).
  • Analog inputs and outputs
  • Digital I/O socket
  • Microphone input with attenuator 0 - 10 - 20 dB
