Introduction
The RX-100 is a full-size DAT recorder made by Sharp, and introduced in 1987.
The RX-100 was part of the Optonica product range.
The RX-100 featured 4DD (4 direct drive) motors.
Included fixed and variable analog line level output sockets, and optical and coaxial digital input and output connectors.
Unusually, the supplied remote control was powered by a solar panel.
